The model LPD series loop indicator is a digital display designed to connect directly to the AMETEK HPT100 series transducer. Its purpose is to produce either a local or remote indication of the process in either pressure, current or percent of full scale. In addition to indication of the process, the LPD110 provides two open collector alarm set points. The display span settings, decimal positions and alarm set points are factory set. The unit span, zero and set points may be adjusted via potentiometers. The potentiometers are externally accessible on the LPD100 and internally accessible on the LPD110. Both cable and Bendix ® compatible connector options are available. The LPD is connected in series with the transducer and is powered by the same 2 wire 4 to 20 mA current loop of the transducer. The open collector alarm outputs on the LPD110 are powered from an additional external power source as part of the alarm circuits. The alarm outputs are electrically isolated from the 4 to 20 mA loop circuit.
