Hunter Spring reels can be customized to a variety of cable configurations with a large selection of termination options and a variety of cable lengths (depending on thickness).  They can be provided in a range of retraction forces and color matched to the end use product. Available designs include multi-conductor, integral surge suppressor, or USB computer cable.

Cord sets can be medical or NEMA grade.  They can be manufactured to meet applicable UL/CSA medical requirements or European IEC standards. Among the various end configurations available are molded male or female NEMA 5-15 plug, IEC computer plug, power strip, or bare wire.  A variety of brackets and custom-mounting options also are offered. 

Hunter Spring retractable cord reels smoothly retract and safely store electrical cords, providing a neat, clean appearance.  They feature an automatic pawl and ratchet systems that securely lock the cord at any desired length.  Their “constant force” cord retraction draws up the cord at a steady, even rate.  A slight tug is all that is required to start the retracting mechanism.  An optional ball stop keeps the cord within easy reach.  The reel’s heavy gauge steel housing with baked enamel finish protects the retracted cord from oil, grease, and corrosion.

Hunter Spring also offers retractable reels with either coated or uncoated stainless steel wire that are ideal for rack systems, server bays, AV equipment and instrument racks, POP displays and many other cable management applications.

These compact reels come in a wide selection of load capacities, ensuring optimum pulling power, and are offered in a variety of termination options, including Velco, tie-wrap, crimped cable or custom terminations.  They are housed in a lightweight, shock-resistant ABS plastic cases that can either be stock ordered or custom designed for specific mounting requirements.
